Yellow Bowl Design
The yellow color is specifically known to attract Asian hornets effectively.
- • Scientifically proven color attraction
- • Enhanced visibility to target species
- • Optimized for Asian hornet behavior
Concentrated Odour
Monitoring station shape concentrates attractant odour for better diffusion and efficacy.
- • Maximizes lure effectiveness
- • Improved scent distribution
- • Attracts hornets from greater distances
Dual Entrances
Two covered entrances focus odours, shield ambient light, and prevent escape.
- • Directional odour guidance
- • Light control for effectiveness
- • Secure capture system
Setup Instructions
Prepare for Bycatch Protection
Drill a series of 6mm holes to allow bycatch escape. For queen-only catching, use 7mm holes.
Install Lure System
Open the monitoring station and place the wick pot on the floor. This is more efficient than filling with liquid attractant.
Secure the Monitoring Station
Close the monitoring station lid securely. Use tape if necessary to ensure proper sealing.
Deploy and Monitor
Position monitoring station in appropriate location. Check regularly and release any bycatch immediately.
